Metro Transit operates buses in and around the Twin Cities, and it also runs the Hiawatha Line light rail connector from downtown Minneapolis to Bloomington and the Mall of America (by way of the airport). Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA, MTA or “Metro”) operates buses, bus rapid transit, light rail and subway lines in L.A. County.

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) shuttles passengers around the Boston area by subway, bus, boat and commuter rail.
