Updates to Bone Voyage dog travel guidebook
Bone Voyage edition currently available on Kindle: 1st (published September 8, 2013)
I will be updating Bone Voyage every few months or so, as I collect enough edits and additions to merit a new release, but between-times I’ll collect new info here as I learn about it:
U.S. airline in-cabin pet policies
AirTran’s official maximum for an in-cabin carrier has changed (Dog Jaunt chart modified to reflect change)
AirTran’s and Southwest’s fees for in-cabin pets are increasing to $95 (same chart modified to reflect change)
United no longer indicates how many in-cabin pets it will allow per passenger (same chart modified to reflect change, including deletion of Note H)
International airline in-cabin pet policies
Thai Air no longer allows in-cabin pets (Dog Jaunt chart modified to reflect change)
Other information
Australia’s rules regarding pet importation and quarantine changed in December 2013 (per this post)
More U.S. airports now have air-side pet relief areas: Seattle, San Diego, and Dulles have been joined by Dallas, Salt Lake City, Minneapolis-St. Paul, and Pittsburgh
